How I got started
When I was young, my parents would take my older brothers and me to see the orchestra. One day, I finally saw the harp—and instantly fell in love. I knew that I needed to play that angelic instrument. I first started learning piano at age 5, and then started harp at age 12. I have fallen even more in love with the sounds of the harp ever since.
I have since graduated with a degree in Harp Performance from Brigham Young University. Over the years, I have played harp for wedding ceremonies, receptions, luncheons, and many other dinners and special events. I love bringing the magic of music into the lives of those around me!
When I’m not playing harp, I also work as a board-certified music therapist. I truly believe in the power of music for anything someone might need! In my free time, I bake, crochet, and hike.
“Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything.” ― Plato
